About the workshop
Located in the middle of the French Concession, look forward to a hands-on cooking class with our professional and bilingual Chefs! In this private DimSum Class, you will have the choice of choosing from the following listed dimsum dishes - and receive recipes in English, Chinese and Japanese to bring home!
Dimsum traditionally comes from Hong Kong, but has it’s roots in Chinese Culture and refer to prepared bite-sized delicacies. These delicacies are typically served in a bamboo-made steamer basket or small plate, and the concept is tied to yum cha (Chinese: 饮茶；Cantonese: yám chàh; pinyin: yǐnchá; literally: "drink tea”), a tradition stemmed from travelers stopping at tea houses along the ancient Silk Road for tea and delicacies.

What you will experience
1. Chef will hand out written recipes in English, Chinese and Japanese - Our Chefs are all professionally trained and completely bilingual in both English and Chinese :)
2. Chef will give out professional kitchen attire incl. apron and chef’s hats!
3. Chef will demonstrate and give hands-on instruction on preparing each dish
4. It's time to eat*!
*You are welcome to have your meal as lunch/ dinner or pack it home with provided containers!
Note: All dimsum dishes can be made vegetarian. Simply leave a comment on your dietary restrictions in the check-out page!
Cancellation is free of charge 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Booking must be made 3 days before the scheduled start time.
