About the workshop

The earliest form of leather use dates back to prehistoric times, where man would use animal hides as clothing and shelter. As civilizations across the world gradually developed, man started to develop techniques to soften and preserve leather products, and they were passed down from father to son across generations!

Today, leather is used to make a wide variety of articles, including accessories, footwear, clothing, furniture, and many more! In this hands-on leather workshop, create your own leather project with guidance from experienced leather artisans. Learn the basic leathercrafting techniques (cutting, burnishing, installing buttons, hand-stitching) and finally personalize your own projects by embossing your name or initials.
