About the workshop
In recent years, ceramics has become a DIY fun activity for everybody young and old in China. Escape the bustle of the city and learn how to shape beautiful ceramic pieces by picking up the age-old skill of throwing clay on a potter's wheel in our ceramic artists' studio.
Work with our local craftsman potter and learn how to knead clay to expel air before shaping clay on a potter's wheel. Take away your stress and learn how to balance your mind and body in this creative and practical process loved by many in today's high-intensity world.

What you will experience
1. Learning the right way to knead clay to expel air
2. A hands-on tutorial in throwing clay on a potter's wheel
3. Working with the Potter Master to decide on what your creation should be, and how to create it
4. Creating your work of art with guidance from our Potter Master
5. Finishing your creation!
IMPORTANT: Works of art require 2 weeks of firing before the final piece of ceramics can be collected/ delivered to you. If you require delivery, please comment during check-out to discuss delivery options with a Culturally Representative.
