About the workshop

Crafune is an artisan leather crafting studio located in the heart of Haji Lane, Singapore's OG hipster neighborhood! Using only vegetable-tanned leather, Crafune prides itself on its minimal impact on the environment as well as love for sustainability and creativity. Using only by-products from the food industry, and designing their own in-house embossing seals with iconic Singapore symbols.

For people who are looking for items that will last a lifetime, vegetable-tanned leather will be extremely suitable as the leather is very sturdy and durable as long as it is well taken cared of. At the same time, vegetable-tanned leather ages very gracefully, acquiring a patina from exposure to the sun, water and even just the oils on our hands.

In this leather workshop, learn about the process of traditional leather crafting through hands-on demonstration and trial, as well as about Singapore's unique multifaceted culture with the creation of leather goods in the model of Singapore icons.
