About the workshop
Dimsum is a crowd-favourite both in China and abroad. These little bundles of joy are indisputably delicious. This workshop will give you the opportunity to experience making Dimsum dishes first hand, learning from a professional chef. Of course, you will also get the chance to savour the fruits of your labour at the conclusion of the session.
Chinese dumplings were originally invented around the year 100 AD by a practitioner of Chinese medicine. Over the years, Chinese dumplings became an essential staple for consumption on the eve of the Lunar New Year every year.
Since this is a public workshop, the dimsum dishes will be chosen randomly (depending on the workshop dates.) If you would like to pick your own dimsum dishes, please book our private dimsum workshop :)
What you will experience
1. Chef will hand out written recipes in English, Chinese and/or Japanese
2. Chef will give out professional kitchen attire incl. apron and chef’s hats!
3. Chef will demonstrate and give hands-on instruction on preparing each dish
4. It's time to eat*!
*You are welcome to have your meal as lunch/ dinner or pack it home with provided containers!
Note: The specific style of dim sum made will vary from session to session. The dishes can also be made vegetarian. Simply leave a comment on your dietary restrictions in the check-out page!
Cancellation is free of charge 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

This is a PUBLIC class, you will be attending the class with others.
Please note that this dish is traditionally prepared with pork.
