About the workshop
Singapore is a country that thrives on food from multi-cultures. Inspired by the beloved ketupat that we enjoy with our satays, as well as the delicious bazhang that we eat, filled with glutinous rice and other fillings, this leather coin pouch is a cute little memento that is designed to hold small trinkets and coins.
During the workshop, pick up some Singapore slang, learn about these favorite local dishes as well as where to try them, and get hands-on with learning how to cut and weave a piece of leather into beautiful ketupats or create cute bazhang pouches.
Attendees will also be able to customise their items by debossing their handcrafted items with names or initials!
