About the workshop
In recent years, ceramics has become a DIY fun activity for everybody young and old in China. Hand clay modelling is our layman's term for moulding clay and shaping it to your ideal figurine (technical term: hand building) before firing it up to produce a beautiful piece of ceramics.
Work with our local craftsman potter and learn how to shape clay beneath your fingers as you partake in the creation portion in pottery making!

What you will experience
1. Introduction to the tools used in hand building/ modelling clay
2. A hands-on tutorial in moulding and shaping clay
3. Working with the Potter Master to decide on what your creation should be, and how to create it
4. Creating your work of art with guidance from our Potter Master
5. Finishing your creation!
IMPORTANT: Works of art require 1 week of firing before the final piece of ceramics can be collected/ delivered to you. If you require delivery, please comment during check-out to discuss delivery options with a Culturally Representative.
