About the workshop
In this educational experience, learn about the history of weeds and be introduced to edible seeds/plants native or brought into Singapore! Find out the amazing links between certain European ingredients and their Asian origins, such as nutmeg and coffee. You will also be taught to identify different types of weeds, their use in traditional Chinese medicine, as well as their role in supporting native wildlife!
Brave and hungry? Go ahead and taste some of the specially curated weeds by our Culturally Ambassador, Joanna! Why just stop to smell the flowers when you can taste them too :)
All prices stated include: Hands-on flower-pressing using local weeds + one pressed flower notebook that you will bring home!
