About the workshop
The hawker centres in Singapore are now a culture, a heritage, and an eminent part of our roots. Hawker centres are complexes with many different stalls that sell a variety of affordable food, each of which are evolved versions of themselves unique to the ethnicities that make up the Singapore population. Some well-known hawker dishes include Char Kway Teow, Chicken Rice, Laksa, Bak Chor Mee (Minced meat noodle), Nasi Lemak and Roti Prata!
