Mixed Class · Hand stitch and create your own unique placemats!
Zokins are dust rags, and the Japanese traditionally used them to clean their homes! It is deeply ingrained in Japanese culture – ask any Japanese friend you have and they'll tell you that they stitched their own zokin in school and used it to clean their desks and classrooms!
In this workshop, the zokins that you create will be used as placemats instead. Learn how to hand stitch together fabric scraps or used garments in order to create not just one, but two unique placemats that you will go on to bring home and brighten up your living space!
